Can I transfer data from the original RainLog or RainLog Pro to RainLogV2.

Yes, but it requires a bit of a conversion first.

Please email us your latest backup file to support@rainlog.com.au

and we can convert the file for you.

Retrieving Data from original app if it won't open

​

If your original app will not open anymore, please retrieve your rainfall data by following below.

​

1. Go to files on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Select ‘Browse’

 

3. Go to the directory ‘On My iPhone’

4. Go to ‘Rain Log’

 

5. Click 3 dots in top right corner of screen

6. Click ’Select’

7. Click ’Select All’

 

8.Click the square with the arrow pointing up at bottom left of screen.

9. Select ‘Mail' and then send all the files to support@rainlog.com.au

11. With the release of the latest IOS, we are getting quite a few emails. Please allow a couple of weeks and if you haven't heard anything back, feel free to email again.

You can use RainLog V2 and still import the backup when you receive. it.

Can I keep using the original RainLog and RainLog Pro?

You are recommended to make a backup of your data on the original apps as soon as possible and switch over to the new version. This app is no longer maintained and with the new iOS updates, it is starting to fail to work correctly.
